Who we are
UM International (优慕国际教育咨询) was established in Pakistan in 2009. Its Chinese entity, Guangzhou UM Consulting Co., Ltd., was registered in September 2025. Together they form a dual-jurisdiction education consultancy serving students from Pakistan, the Middle East and beyond.
Our first enrollment partnership was with Chengde Medical University in 2008–09. Since then we have served more than ten universities in China and built long-term partnerships with six of them, including Jilin University, which appointed UM International as its exclusive enrollment partner for Pakistan and the Middle East.
Students have come to us from Pakistan, Iran, Bangladesh, India and the Middle East. Today we advise on study in the UK, Europe, China, Russia, Kyrgyzstan, the USA, Canada, Australia and Malaysia, and on MBBS programs in 13 countries.
How we work
Our leadership travels regularly to partner campuses to meet faculty, review student progress and keep each partnership in good standing. We see this as an institutional presence in China, not a transactional agency relationship.
We stay in contact with every student's family, inform parents quickly if behavioural or disciplinary concerns arise, and guide students through their studies and early career decisions.

Head office at the World Trade Center, Giga Mall, Islamabad. Offices in Lahore, Karachi, Peshawar, Lower Dir, Kashmir. A presence in the United Arab Emirates, and partner offices in Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Ghana, Iran.
We promote partner universities through Google, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube and TikTok, and organise our own education expos in Pakistan and the Middle East where universities meet students and families directly.
Registration and compliance
Our China entity supports compliance with the Ministry of Education's policies on nationality verification, residence records and credential authentication.
